 Overview of neutral-meson production in pp, p–A and A–A collisions at the LHC measured by ALICE / Peresunko, Dmitri (Kurchatov Inst., Moscow) /ALICE Neutral pion and $\eta$-meson production in pp, p-A and A-A collisions at LHC energies measured with the ALICE experiment is reviewed. In pp collisions the measured invariant production cross-section both of $\pi^0$ and $\eta$-mesons is reproduced by Pythia 8 Monash tune while NLO pQCD calculations predict significantly higher yield.  Open-heavy-flavour production and elliptic flow in p-Pb collisions at the LHC with ALICE / Terrevoli, Cristina (U. Padua (main) ; U. Houston (main)) /ALICE Measurements of open heavy-flavour production in p--Pb collisions allow assessing the Cold Nuclear Matter effects due to the presence of a nucleus in the colliding system.  Measurements of heavy-flavour decay lepton productions in Pb-Pb and Xe-Xe collisions with ALICE at the LHC / Zhang, Zuman (Hua-Zhong Normal U., LQLP ; Clermont-Ferrand U.) /ALICE Charm and beauty quarks are expected to form on a shorter time scale with respect to the stronglyinteracting medium, Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP), produced in high-energy heavy-ion collisions.Therefore, expecting the full evolution of the collision, they are effective probes to study themechanisms of parton energy loss and hadronisation in the hot and dense medium, giving insight onthe QGP evolution and its transport coefficients.The heavy-flavour nuclear modification factor($R_{\rm AA}$) is one of the key observables whichallows investigate the interaction strength of heavyquarks with the medium constituents.We report on the latest measurements of the $R_{\rm AA}$ of open heavy-flavour hadrons via semi-leptonicdecays to electrons at mid-rapidity and muons at forward rapidity in Pb-Pb collisions and Xe-Xe collisions with ALICE at LHC.Comparisons with model calculationsincluding the interaction of heavy quarks with the hot, dense, and deconfined medium will be alsoshown..  Event-multiplicity and event-shape dependence of open heavy flavour production in pp collisions with ALICE at the LHC / Acharya, Shreyasi (HBNI, Mumbai ; Calcutta, VECC) /ALICE The excellent tracking and particle-identification capabilities of the ALICE detector allow us to fully reconstruct hadronic decays of open-charm hadrons at central rapidity and to study leptons from charm- and beauty-hadron decays at central and forward rapidities ($y$).
