Measurement of the relative $B^{\pm}_c$/$B^{\pm}$ production cross section at ATLAS / Toms, Konstantin (University of New Mexico) /ATLAS Collaboration The total cross section and differential cross sections for the production of $B_{c}^{\pm}$ mesons, times their branching fraction to $J/\psi \pi^{\pm}$, are measured relative to those for the production of $B^{\pm}$ mesons, times their branching fraction to $J/\psi K^{\pm}$. The data used for this study correspond to an integrated luminosity of $20.3\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider in 2012 at a center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s} = 8$\,\TeV. Measurements of $K^{0}_{S}$ and $\Lambda^0$ production in $t \bar{t}$ dileptonic events in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7~TeV$ with the ATLAS detector. / Calvente Lopez, Sergio (Physics Department, Universidad Autonoma de Madrid) /ATLAS Collaboration Measurements of $K_S^0$ and $\Lambda^0$ production in $t\bar{t}$ final states have been performed. They are based on a data sample with integrated luminosity of 4.6 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ from proton--proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV, collected in 2011 with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The phase-1 upgrade of the ATLAS level-1 calorimeter trigger / Ermoline, Iouri (Michigan State University, Department of Physics and Astronomy) /ATLAS Collaboration The ATLAS level-1 calorimeter trigger (L1Calo) is a hardware-based system that identifies events containing calorimeter-based physics objects, including electrons, photons, taus, jets, and missing transverse energy. In preparation for Run 3, when the LHC will run at higher energy and instantaneous luminosity, L1Calo is currently implementing a significant programme of planned upgrades. The ATLAS Electron and Photon Trigger Performance in Run 2 / ATLAS Collaboration /ATLAS Collaboration ATLAS electron and photon triggers covering transverse energies from 5 GeV to several TeV are essential to record signals for a wide variety of physics: from Standard Model processes to searches for new phenomena in both proton-proton and heavy ion collisions. Main triggers used during Run 2 (2015-2018) for those physics studies were a single-electron trigger with ET threshold around 25 GeV and a diphoton trigger with thresholds at 25 and 35 GeV. The Micromegas chambers for the ATLAS New Small Wheel upgrade / Gnesi, Ivan (INFN Gruppo Collegato di Cosenza and Universita' della Calabria, Dipartimento di Fisica) /ATLAS Collaboration The ATLAS collaboration at LHC has chosenthe resistive Micromegas technology, along withthe small-strip Thin Gap Chambers (sTGC), for the high luminosity upgrade of the first muonstation in the high-rapidity region, the so called New Small Wheel (NSW) project. After theR&D;, design and prototyping phase, the series production Micromegas quadruplets are beingconstructed at the involved construction sites in France, Germany, Italy, Russia and Greece.AtCERN, the final validation and the integration of the modules in Sectors are in progress.Theseare big steps forward for the installation of the first NSW, the NSW-A foreseen for the LHClong shutdown in 2020.
