Higgs boson parameters and decays into fermions / Bluj, Michal Jacek (NCBJ, Swierk) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations In 2012 the discovery of a new boson with a mass of about 125 GeV and properties in agreement with those expected for the Higgs boson in the standard model was announced. In this note we review the results of searches for the fermionic decays the Higgs boson and the study of its properties performed with the proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS and CMS detectors at the LHC in 2011 and 2012, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of approximately 5~fb$^{-1}$ and approximately 20~fb$^{-1}$ per experiment at $\sqrt{s}=7$~TeV and $\sqrt{s}=8$~TeV, respectively. Performance of algorithms that reconstruct missing transverse momentum in $\sqrt{s}$= 8 TeV proton--proton collisions in the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration The reconstruction and calibration algorithms used to calculate missing transverse momentum ($E_{\rm T}^{\rm miss}$) with the ATLAS detector exploit energy deposits in the calorimeter and tracks reconstructed in the inner detector as well as the muon spectrometer. Run 1 Higgs legacy combination / Donato, Silvio (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations The discovery of the Higgs boson has been an important success of the LHC Run 1. This document presents the combination of the ATLAS and CMS measurements of the Higgs boson production and decay rates and of the Higgs boson coupling with vector bosons and fermions. Heavy flavour physics from CMS and ATLAS / Swain, Sanjay Kumar (Bhubaneswar, Inst. Phys.) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations The study of heavy flavor physics plays an important role in testing Quantum Chromody- namics (QCD) calculations. Here we discuss the production and properties of b and c quarks. The physics properties show up through different experimental observables. [...] CMS-CR-2016-222.- Geneva : CERN, 2016 - 10 p. Jet and photon physics in pp collisions at the LHC / Ciulli, Vitaliano (INFN, Florence ; Florence U.) /ALICE,ATLAS,CMS and LHCB Collaborations Jets and photons production in proton-proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN are key processes to test predictions of Quantum Chromodynamics and constraint the parton distribution functions of the proton. In this paper the most recent measurements from the LHC Collaborations are reviewed.. CMS-CR-2016-215.- Geneva : CERN, 2016 - 19 p. Recent Results from CMS and ATLAS: Electroweak Symmetry, Breaking and Beyond / Azzurri, Paolo (INFN, Pisa) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations The discovery of the Higgs boson, announced by the CMS and ATLAS collaborations in 2012, unearthed the final cornerstone of the standard electroweak model of particle physics, and repre- sents the main legacy of the LHC Run 1. With Run 1 data the mass of the Higgs boson has been determined with 0.2pct precision, while coupling properties are only established at the 10pct level or worse.
