Search and measurement of the SM Higgs boson / Donato, Silvio (Zurich U.) /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations After the success of the LHC Run-1 physics program, the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations have presented their results obtained with the first $\sim 36\,\textnormal{fb}^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity delivered by the LHC at $\sqrt{s} = 13\,\textnormal{TeV}$ in Run-2. We present the main results obtained on the Standard Model Higgs boson, including the searches for specific decay and production channels, and the measurements of the Higgs boson couplings and differential cross section.. Interpretation of non-MET+X ATLAS and CMS searches for dark matter scenarios / Wulz, Claudia (Vienna, OAW) /ATLAS ,CMS and SUSY Collaborations Dark matter searches by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the CERN LHC in final states with no missing transverse energy are presented, using channels with dileptons and dijets, in particular. Through a study of dijet angular distributions the low-mass mediator regions have been explored for the first time. Most of the analyses were performed with data recorded at a centre-of-mass energy of 13~TeV.. Measurement of collective flow in XeXe collisions at 5.44 TeV with the CMS experiment / Stojanovic, Milan (VINCA Inst. Nucl. Sci., Belgrade) /CMS Collaboration New measurements of collective flow in XeXe collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 5.44 TeV per nucleon pair, collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC, are presented. The $v_{2}$, $v_{3}$ and $v_{4}$ Fourier coefficients of the anisotropic azimuthal distribution are obtained employing three different analysis techniques two-particle correlations, scalar product method and multiparticle cumulants, which have different sensitivities to non-flow and flow fluctuation effects. Beyond nPDF effects: Prompt J/$\psi$ and $\psi(2S)$ production in pPb collisions with the CMS detector / Oh, Geonhee (Chonnam Natl. U.) /CMS Collaboration Measurements of prompt $\psi$(2S) meson production cross sections in proton-lead (pPb) and proton-proton (pp) collisions at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV are reported. The results are based on pPb and pp data collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 34.6 $\mathrm{nb^{-1}}$ and 28.0 $\mathrm{pb^{-1}}$, respectively. Fragmentation of ${\rm J}\hspace{-.08em}/\hspace{-.14em}\psi$ in jets in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 5.02~\mathrm{TeV}$ / Diab, Batoul (Ecole Polytechnique) /CMS Collaboration The fragmentation of jets containing a ${\rm J}\hspace{-.08em}/\hspace{-.14em}\psi$ meson is studied in 5.02~TeV pp data using an integrated luminosity of ${\cal L} = 27.39~\mathrm{pb^{-1}}$. The fraction of the jet transverse momentum $p_{\rm T,jet}$ carried by the ${\rm J}\hspace{-.08em}/\hspace{-.14em}\psi$ is measured for prompt ${\rm J}\hspace{-.08em}/\hspace{-.14em}\psi$ and ${\rm J}\hspace{-.08em}/\hspace{-.14em}\psi$ coming from b hadron decays, named nonprompt. D$^0$ Meson R$_{AA}$ in PbPb Collisions at $\sqrt s_{NN}$ = 5.02~TeV and Elliptic Flow in pPb Collisions at $\sqrt s_{NN}$ = 8.16~TeV with CMS / SHI, Zhaozhong (MIT) /CMS Collaboration The study of charm production in heavy-ion collisions is considered an excellent probe to study the properties of the hot and dense medium created in heavy-ion collisions. Measurements of D-meson nuclear modification can provide strong constraints into the mechanisms of in-medium energy loss and charm flow in the medium. Search for the chiral magnetic effect at the LHC with the CMS experiment / Tu, Zhoudunming (Rice U.) /CMS Collaboration Searches for the chiral magnetic effect (CME) using charge-dependent azimuthal correlations with respect to event planes are presented in PbPb collisions at 5.02~TeV and pPb collisions at 5.02 and 8.16~TeV, with the CMS experiment at the LHC. The azimuthal correlations with respect to the second- and third-order event planes are explored as a function of pseudorapidity, transverse momentum, and event multiplicity, which provides new insights into the underlying background correlations. Particle Flow and PUPPI in the Level-1 trigger at CMS for the HL-LHC / Kreis, Benjamin Jonah (Fermilab) /CMS Collaboration With the planned addition of tracking information to the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Level-1 trigger for the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC), the trigger algorithms can be completely reconceptualized. We explore the feasibility of using Particle Flow-like reconstruction and pileup per particle identification (PUPPI) pileup mitigation at the hardware trigger level.
