Search for supersymmetry in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$ with $137~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ in the final state with a single lepton using the sum of masses of large-radius jets /CMS Collaboration
Results are reported from a search for new physics beyond the standard model in proton-proton collisions in the final state with a single lepton; multiple jets, including at least one jet tagged as originating from the hadronization of a bottom quark; and large missing transverse momentum. The search uses a sample of proton-proton collision data at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$, corresponding to $137~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$, recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC. [...]

Measurement of the top quark pair production cross section in the dilepton channel including a $\tau$ lepton in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$ /CMS Collaboration
The cross section of the top quark pair production process $\mathrm{t\overline{t}}\rightarrow (\ell\nu_{\ell})(\tau_{\mathrm{h}}\nu_{\tau})\mathrm{b\overline{b}}$ is measured, where the $\tau_{\mathrm{h}}$ refers to the hadronic decays of the $\tau$ lepton, and $\ell=\mathrm{e},\mu$. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of $35.9~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ and was collected in 2016 by the CMS detector in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$. [...]

Search for a narrow resonance decaying to a pair of muons in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV /CMS Collaboration
A search is presented for a narrow resonance decaying to a pair of muons using 13 TeV proton-proton collision data recorded by the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC. The search in the $45-75$ and $110-200$ GeV resonance mass ranges uses fully reconstructed event data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb$^{-1}$. [...]

Observation of the $\Lambda_{\mathrm{b}} \to \mathrm{J}/\psi \Lambda \phi$ decay in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV /CMS Collaboration
We report a first observation of the $\Lambda_{\mathrm{b}} \to \mathrm{J}/\psi \Lambda \phi$ decay using proton-proton collision data collected at $\sqrt{s}$= 13 TeV by the CMS experiment at the LHC, and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 60 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. The ratio of the branching fractions ${\cal B}(\Lambda_{\mathrm{b}} \to \mathrm{J}/\psi \Lambda \phi)/{\cal B}(\Lambda_{\mathrm{b}}\to \psi\mathrm{(2S)} \Lambda)$ is measured to be $(8.26\pm0.90~\mathrm{(stat)} \pm0.68~\mathrm{(syst)}\pm0.11({\cal B}))\times 10^{-2}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third is due to the uncertainties in the world-average branching fractions..

Measurement of properties of Bs0 to mu+mu- decays and search for B0 to mu+mu- with the CMS experiment /CMS Collaboration
Results are reported for the ${\rm B_s^0}\to\mu^+\mu^-$ branching fraction and effective lifetime and from a search for the decay ${\rm B^0}\to\mu^+\mu^-$. The analysis uses a data sample of proton-proton collisions accumulated by the CMS experiment in 2011, 2012, and 2016, with center-of-mass energies (integrated luminosities) of 7 TeV (5 fb$^{-1}$), 8 TeV (20 fb$^{-1}$), and 13 TeV (36 fb$^{-1}$). Search for supersymmetry with a compressed mass spectrum in events with a soft $\tau$ lepton, a highly energetic jet, and large missing transverse momentum in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$ /CMS Collaboration
The first search for supersymmetry in events with one soft tau lepton, one energetic jet from initial state radiation, and transverse momentum imbalance is presented. These event signatures are consistent with those from supersymmetric models exhibiting co-annihilation between the scalar tau lepton ($\tilde{\tau}$) and the lightest neutralino ($\tilde\chi^{0}_{1}$) that could generate the observed relic density of dark matter. Measurement of the cross section for $\mathrm{t}\bar{\mathrm{t}}$ production with additional jets and b jets in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$ /CMS Collaboration
The cross sections of top quark pair production in association with a pair of jets from bottom quarks ($\sigma_{\mathrm{t}\bar{\mathrm{t}}\mathrm{b}\bar{\mathrm{b}}}$) and in association with a pair of jets from quarks with any flavor or gluons ($\sigma_{\mathrm{t}\bar{\mathrm{t}}\mathrm{jj}}$) and their ratio are measured in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of $13~\mathrm{TeV}$ with data collected in 2016 by the CMS detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $35.9~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. The measurements are performed in the visible phase space in the dilepton and lepton+jets channels separately, by fitting the distribution of the b tagging discriminant variable of the two jets that do not belong to the $\mathrm{t}\bar{\mathrm{t}}$ decay.
