Extraction and validation of a set of HERWIG 7 tunes from CMS underlying-event measurements /CMS Collaboration
This note presents a new set of parameters ("tunes") for the underlying-event model of the HERWIG$\,$7 event generator. The parameters control the description of multiple-parton interactions (MPI) and colour reconnection in HERWIG$\,$7, and are obtained from a fit to underlying-event and minimum-bias data collected by the CMS experiment at $\sqrt{s}=$ 0.9, 7, and 13 TeV. Search for decays of the $125~\mathrm{GeV}$ Higgs boson into a Z boson and a $\rho$ or $\phi$ meson /CMS Collaboration

Measurement of the top quark Yukawa coupling from $\mathrm{t}\bar{\mathrm{t}}$ kinematic distributions in the dilepton final state at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$ /CMS Collaboration
An indirect measurement of the Higgs Yukawa coupling to the top quark is presented using pp collision at $\sqrt{s}=13~\mathrm{TeV}$ with an integrated luminosity of $137~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ recorded by the CMS detector. The coupling strength with respect to the standard model value, $Y_\mathrm{t}$, is determined from kinematic distributions in $\mathrm{t\bar{t}}$ production final states containing ee, $\mu\mu$, or e$\mu$ pairs. Studies of parton-medium interactions using Z-tagged charged particles in PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}=5.02~\mathrm{TeV}$ /CMS Collaboration
The first measurements of Z boson-tagged charged hadron spectra are reported in PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}=5~\mathrm{TeV}$, using the PbPb collision data recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC in 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $1.7~\mathrm{nb}^{-1}$. Relative cross sections of the ${\rm B_c^+(2S)}$ and ${\rm B_c^{*+}(2S)}$ states with respect to the ${\rm B_c^+}$ state in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV /CMS Collaboration
The ${\rm B_c^+(2S)}$ to ${\rm B_c^+}$ and ${\rm B_c^{*+}(2S)}$ to ${\rm B_c^+}$ cross section ratios, as well as the ${\rm B_c^{*+}(2S)}$ to ${\rm B_c^+(2S)}$ cross section ratio, are measured in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV, using a data sample collected by the CMS experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 143 fb$^{-1}$. The three measurements are made in the ${\rm B_c^+}$ phase space window defined by transverse momentum $p_{\rm T} > 15$ GeV and absolute rapidity $|y| < 2.4$, with the excited ${\rm B_c^{(*)+}(2S)}$ states reconstructed in their ${\rm B_c^+} \pi^+ \pi^-$ decay.
