Terbium-152 is one of four terbium radioisotopes that together form a potential theranostic toolbox for the personalised treatment of tumours. As 152 Tb decay by positron emission it can be utilised for diagnostics by positron emission tomography. [...]

Coulomb excitation of Zn74,76 / ISOLDE Collaboration
The first experiment using radioactive beams post-accelerated by the HIE-ISOLDE facility has enabled to obtain a precise set of B(E2) transition probabilities in neutron-rich Zn74,76 isotopes. The resulting B(E2; 21+→01+) values are consistent with those determined in earlier REX-ISOLDE measurements. [...]

$^{133}$In: A Rosetta Stone for decays of r-process nuclei / Xu, Z.Y. (U. Tennessee, Knoxville) ; Madurga, M. (U. Tennessee, Knoxville) ; Grzywacz, R. (U. Tennessee, Knoxville ; Oak Ridge) ; King, T.T. (U. Tennessee, Knoxville ; Oak Ridge) ; Algora, A. (Valencia U., IFIC ; Debrecen, Inst. Nucl. Res.) ; Andreyev, A.N. The $\beta$ decays from both the ground state and a long-lived isomer of $^{133}$In were studied at the ISOLDE Decay Station (IDS). With a hybrid detection system sensitive to $\beta$, $\gamma$, and neutron spectroscopy, the comparative partial half-lives (logft) have been measured for all their dominant $\beta$-decay channels for the first time, including a low-energy Gamow-Teller transition and several First-Forbidden (FF) transitions. Isomeric excitation energy for $^{99}$In$^{m}$ from mass spectrometry reveals constant trend next to doubly magic $^{100}$Sn / Nies, L. (CERN ; Greifswald U.) ; Atanasov, D. (CERN) ; Athanasakis-Kaklamanakis, M. (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Au, M. (CERN ; Mainz U.) ; Blaum, K. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Dobaczewski, J. (Warsaw U.) ; Hu, B.S. (TRIUMF) ; Holt, J.D. (TRIUMF ; McGill U.) ; Karthein, J. (MIT) ; Kulikov, I. (Darmstadt, GSI) et al.
The excitation energy of the 1/2$^-$ isomer in $^{99}$In at ${N=50}$ is measured to be 671(37) keV and the mass uncertainty of the 9/2$^+$ ground state is significantly reduced using the ISOLTRAP mass spectrometer at ISOLDE/CERN. The measurements exploit a major improvement in the resolution of the multi-reflection time-of-flight mass spectrometer. [...]

Producing novel medical radionuclides in the quantities necessary for pre-clinical and clinical use requires an ion source able to handle high ion throughputs, operated efficiently, to deliver high specific activity samples. This is only possible with the understanding of how different parameters affect the ion source performance. [...]

Hydrogen passivation of cd acceptors in III–V semiconductors studied by PAC spectroscopy / ISOLDE Collaboration
Formation, structure, and stability of hydrogen correlated complexes, created at Cd acceptors in GaP, InP, and InAs have been studied after plasma charging as well as after H+ and/or He+ implantation at different energies. The different complexes were monitored by the perturbed angular correlation technique (PAC). [...]

The use of radioactive molecules for fundamental physics research is a developing interdisciplinary field limited dominantly by their scarce availability. In this work, radioactive molecular ion beams containing actinide nuclei extracted from uranium carbide targets are produced via the Isotope Separation On-Line technique at the CERN-ISOLDE facility.
