Precision nuclear charge radii measurements in the light-mass region are essential for understanding the evolution of nuclear structure, but their measurement represents a great challenge for experimental techniques. At the Collinear Resonance Ionization Spectroscopy (CRIS) setup at ISOLDE-CERN, a laser frequency calibration and monitoring system was installed and commissioned through the hyperfine spectra measurement of $^{38–47}$K. Evaluation of high-precision atomic masses of A ∼ 50-80 and rare-earth nuclides measured with ISOLTRAP / Huang, W J (CSNSM, Orsay ; Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Atanasov, D (CERN) ; Audi, G (CSNSM, Orsay) ; Blaum, K (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Cakirli, R B (Istanbul U.) ; Herlert, A (FAIR, Darmstadt) ; Kowalska, M (CERN) ; Kreim, S (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst. ; CERN) ; Litvinov, Yu A (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Lunney, D (CSNSM, Orsay) et al.
High-precision mass measurements of stable and beta-decaying nuclides $^{52-57}$Cr, $^{55}$Mn, $^{56,59}$Fe, $^{59}$Co, $^{75, 77-79}$Ga, and the lanthanide nuclides $^{140}$Ce, $^{140}$Nd, $^{160}$Yb, $^{168}$Lu, $^{178}$Yb have been performed with the Penning-trap mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP at ISOLDE/CERN. The new data are entered into the Atomic Mass Evaluation and improve the accuracy of masses along the valley of stability, strengthening the so-called backbone. [...]

Nuclear charge radii of $^{62−80}$Zn and their dependence on cross-shell proton excitations / Xie, L (Manchester U.) ; Yang, X F (Peking U., SKLNPT ; Leuven U.) ; Wraith, C (Liverpool U.) ; Babcock, C (Liverpool U.) ; Bieroń, J (Jagiellonian U.) ; Billowes, J (Manchester U.) ; Bissell, M L (Manchester U. ; Leuven U.) ; Blaum, K (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Cheal, B (Liverpool U.) ; Filippin, L (U. Brussels (main)) et al.
Nuclear charge radii of $^{62−80}$Zn have been determined using collinear laser spectroscopy of bunched ion beams at CERN-ISOLDE. The subtle variations of observed charge radii, both within one isotope and along the full range of neutron numbers, are found to be well described in terms of the proton excitations across the $Z=28$ shell gap, as predicted by large-scale shell model calculations. Electromagnetic properties of low-lying states in neutron-deficient Hg isotopes: Coulomb excitation of $^{182}$Hg, $^{184}$Hg, $^{186}$Hg and $^{188}$Hg / Wrzosek-Lipska, K (Warsaw U., Heavy Ion Lab ; Leuven U.) ; Rezynkina, K (Leuven U. ; U. Strasbourg) ; Bree, N (Leuven U.) ; Zielińska, M (Warsaw U., Heavy Ion Lab ; IRFU, Saclay) ; Gaffney, L P (Liverpool U. ; Leuven U. ; CERN ; West Scotland U.) ; Petts, A (Liverpool U.) ; Andreyev, A (Leuven U. ; York U., England) ; Bastin, B (Leuven U. ; GANIL) ; Bender, M (Lyon, IPN) ; Blazhev, A (Cologne U.) et al.
The neutron-deficient mercury isotopes serve as a classical example of shape coexistence, whereby at low energy near-degenerate nuclear states characterized by different shapes appear. The electromagnetic structure of even-mass $^{182-188}$ Hg isotopes was studied using safe-energy Coulomb excitation of neutron-deficient mercury beams delivered by the REX-ISOLDE facility at CERN. Hyperfine structure and nuclear magnetic moments of the praseodymium isotopes {135,136,137}^Pr / IS517 Collaboration
Collinear laser spectroscopy was applied to measure the hyperfine structure of {135−137}^Pr at ISOLDE/CERN. Combined with measurements of the stable isotope {141}^Pr at the TRIGA-SPEC setup in Mainz we were able to determine the magnetic moments of the neutron-deficient isotopes {135}^Pr, {136}^Pr and {137}^Pr for the first time..

$Q_{\textrm{EC}}$-value determination for $^{21}$Na$\rightarrow^{21}$Ne and $^{23}$Mg$\rightarrow^{23}$Na mirror-nuclei decays using high-precision mass spectrometry with ISOLTRAP at ISOLDE/CERN / Karthein, J. (Leuven U.) ; George, Sebastian ; Hayen, L. (Leuven U.) ; Lunney, D. (CSNSM, Orsay) ; Manea, V. (CERN) ; Mougeot, M. (CSNSM, Orsay) et al.
We report on high-precision $Q_{\textrm{EC}}$ values of the $^{21}$Na$\rightarrow^{21}$Ne and $^{23}$Mg$\rightarrow^{23}$Na mirror $\beta$-transitions from mass measurements with ISOLTRAP at ISOLDE/CERN. A precision of $\delta m/m = 9 \cdot 10^{-10}$ and $\delta m/m = 1.5 \cdot 10^{-9}$ was reached for the masses of $^{21}$Na and $^{23}$Mg, respectively. [...]

Lattice location study of low-fluence ion-implanted 124In in 3C-SiC / Costa, A. R. G. ; Wahl, U. ; Correia, J. G. ; David-Bosne, E. ; Augustyns, V. ; Lima, T. A. L. ; Silva, D. J. ; da Silva, M. R. ; Bharuth-Ram, K. ; Pereira, L. M. C.
We report on the lattice location of low-fluence ion implanted 124In in single-crystalline 3C-SiC by means of the emission channeling technique using radioactive isotopes produced at the ISOLDE/CERN facility. In the sample implanted at room temperature to a fluence of 4 × 1012 cm−2, 60(9)% of the In atoms were found slightly displaced (0.12–0.20 Å) from substitutional Si sites, with the remainder occupying sites of low crystallographic symmetry, the so-called random sites. Time-of-Flight study of molecular beams extracted from the ISOLDE RFQ cooler and buncher / Ringvall Moberg, A. ; Warren, S. ; Muñoz Pequeño, C. ; Cruikshank, J. ; Giles, T. ; Hanstorp, D.
Molecular beams injected into the ISOLDE Radio-Frequency Quadrupole cooler and buncher (RFQcb), ISCOOL, have been studied under varying conditions using a new Time-of-Flight (ToF) detector. When a beam of molecules is injected into the RFQcb and interacts with the buffer gas, collisional dissociation processes may occur. [...]
