Charm baryons at LHCb / Seman Bobulska, Dana (University of Glasgow (GB)) The LHCb experiment collected the world's largest sample of charmed hadrons during LHC Run 1 and Run 2. With this data set, LHCb is currently providing the world's most precise measurements of properties and production of known charmed baryons, as well as searching for many previously unobserved states. Charmonia photo-production in ultra-peripheral and peripheral PbPb collisions with LHCb. / Duan, Weisong (South China Normal University (CN)) The LHCb recorded $\sim$ 210 $\mu b^{-1}$ integrated luminosity of PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV in 2018. With an increase of the luminosity by a factor of 20 compared to the previous 2015 PbPb dataset, precise measurements on photo-produced charmonia in ultra-peripheral collisions are now possible. New Simulation Software Technologies at the LHCb Experiment at CERN / Mazurek, Michal (National Centre for Nuclear Research (PL)) ; Corti, Gloria (CERN) ; Muller, Dominik The LHCb experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN has successfully performed a large number of physics measurements during Runs 1 and 2 of the LHC. Monte Carlo simulation is key to the interpretation of these and future measurements. [...] LHCb-PROC-2021-011; CERN-LHCb-PROC-2021-011.- Geneva : CERN, 2021 - 17. Precision QCD Measurements from LHCb / Kucharczyk, Marcin (Polish Academy of Sciences (PL)) The LHCb detector, thanks to its unique coverage of the forward region of pseudorapidity from 2 to 5, together with high-precision tracking and excellent particle identification, is a universal tool allowing to study a wide spectrum of QCD processes. The present document focuses on the recent results on the production of charged hadrons within jets recoiling against a Z boson at $\sqrt{_s}$ = 8 TeV as well as the Bose-Einstein correlations of same-sign pions at $\sqrt{_s}$= 7 TeV, both performed using large samples of proton-proton collision data accumulated with the LHCb detector. Heavy-ion physics and strong interactions at LHCb / Dembinski, Hans Peter (Technische Universitaet Dortmund (DE)) The LHCb experiment is a single-arm spectrometer designed for the study of heavy flavour physics at the LHC, but also an excellent general purpose experiment for the study of quantum chromodynamics in the forward region. The forward acceptance make the LHCb data particular interesting for many applications in astroparticle physics, which are dominated by forward hadron production. Precision Measurement of the $B_s-\kern0.18em\overline{\kern -0.18em B}{}^0_s$ Oscillation Frequency $\Delta m_s$ with $B_s\to D_s^-\pi^+$ Decays at LHCb / Heinicke, Kevin (Technische Universitaet Dortmund (DE)) /LHCb Collaboration Decays of $B^0_s \to D_s^- \pi^+$ allow to determine the oscillation frequency $\Delta m_s$ between the $B^0_s$ particle and $\kern0.18em\overline{\kern -0.18em B}{}^0_s$ antiparticle states with high precision. It is a crucial input to constrain the CKM matrix and a manifestation of the quantum nature of physics. Rare decays and searches for exotic signatures at LHCb: purely leptonic decays / Mombacher, Titus (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (ES)) A review of the experimental status of purely leptonic ${B^0_{[s]}\to\ell^+\ell^-}$ decays is given and the new analysis of ${B^0_{[s]}\to\mu^+\mu^-}$ observables with the LHCb experiment is presented. The new results are the most precise single experiment measurements of the quantities to date and are consistent with the Standard Model.
