Future wishes and constraints from the experiments at the LHC for the proton-proton program

Hosting six different experiments at four different interaction points and widely different requirements for the running conditions, the LHC machine has been faced with a long list of challenges in the first three years of luminosity production 2010 – 2012 (Run 1), many of which were potentially capable of limiting the performance due to instabilities resulting from the extremely high bunch brightness. Nonetheless, LHC met the challenges and performed extremely well at high efficiency and routinely with beam brightness at twice the design, well over 1/3 of the time in collision for physics, average luminosity lifetimes in excess of 10h, and extremely good background conditions in the experiments. CP Violation in the $B^0_s$ system in LHCb

Latest LHCb measurements of $CP$ violation in the interference between mixing and decay are presented based on $pp$ collision data collected in 2011 at centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}$ = 7TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0fb$^{-1}$. A combination of about $27.6k$ $B_s^0\to J/\psi \phi$ and $7.4k$ $B_s^0\to J/\psi \pi\pi$ signal events yield the most accurate measurement of the $CP$-violating phase, $\phi_s^{c\overline{c}s}$. Rare decays at LHCb

The results on rare decay processes obtained by the LHCb experiment using 1.0 $fb^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions collected in 2011 at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s} = 7 TeV$ are presented. Latest results from LHCb on $B^0_{(s)} \to \mu\mu$ and other very rare decays

In this review I present the latest updates on the searches for very rare decays to muonic final states performed within the LHCb collaboration using pp collisions at 7 and 8 TeV centre of mass energy. Flavour changing neutral current processes, such as $K^0_s \to \mu^+\mu^-, B^0_{(s)} \to \mu^+\mu^-$ and $B^0_{(s)} \to \mu^+\mu^-\mu^+\mu^-$ are highly suppressed in the Standard Model (SM) and are therefore excellent probes of New Physics (NP) processes or heavy particles that can significantly modify the expected SM rates. B decays to charmonia at LHCb
