Heavy-flavour tagging at the CMS experiment / Zaza, Angela (INFN, Bari ; Bari U.) /CMS Collaboration
At the CMS experiment, the identification of heavy-flavour jets, i.e., jets originating from bottom and charm quarks, is crucial for many standard model (SM) measurements, mostly involving the top quark and the Higgs boson, and searches for new physics. The CMS Collaboration developed extremely powerful jet tagging algorithms based on state-of-the-art deep learning methods, which will be illustrated in this contribution. [...]

Search for LFV with tau leptons in the final state / Guzzi, Luca (INFN, Milan Bicocca) /CMS Collaboration
In the Standard Model (SM) lepton flavour numbers are approximately conserved at energies accessible to current experiments, where lepton flavour violation is extremely suppressed. The observation of neutrino oscillations, however, proves that neutrinos are massive particles and allows for additional Lepton Flavour Violating (LFV) processes also at low energies [...]

Searches for New Physics that couple with third generation fermions / D'Amante, Valeria (INFN, Pisa) /CMS Collaboration
The $\tau$ lepton, with a mass of $1776.86\pm0.12$ MeV, is unique in its ability to decay into hadrons and a neutrino. Approximately one third of $\tau$ decays produce an electron or a muon and two neutrinos, denoted as $\tau_e$ and $\tau_\mu$. [...]

The impact of a primordial gravitational wave background on LISA resolvable sources / Braglia, Matteo (New York U., CCPP) ; Pieroni, Mauro (CERN ; L2IT, Toulouse) ; Marsat, Sylvain (L2IT, Toulouse)
The existence of a primordial stochastic gravitational wave background (SGWB) is a common prediction in various models of the early Universe. [...]

New strategies for probing $B\to D^\ast \ell\bar\nu_\ell$ lattice and experimental data / Bordone, Marzia (CERN) ; Juttner, Andreas (Southampton U. ; CERN)
We present an analysis of the exclusive semileptonic decay $B\to D^\ast \ell\bar\nu_\ell$ based on the Belle and Belle II data made public in 2023, combined with recent lattice-QCD calculations of the hadronic transition form factors by FNAL/MILC, HPQCD and JLQCD. [...]

Combination of searches for Higgs boson pair production in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
This Letter presents results from a combination of searches for Higgs boson pair production using 126-140 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector. [...]

We investigate the high $Q^2$ (photon virtuality) limit of single-inclusive hadron production in DIS (SIDIS) at small $x$, using the color glass condensate formalism at next-to-leading order. [...]

Test results of the optical calibration system for the Large Sized Telescope camera /RE23/CTA-LST collaboration
In 2018 the Large Sized Telescope (LST-1) prototype, designed to be the lowest energy detector for the Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory, was inaugurated at the Observatorio de Roque de Los Muchachos in La Palma, Canary Island and today three more are under construction, LST2–4 . The LST camera, with 1855 photomultipliers (PMTs), requires precise and regular calibration. [...]
