CERN Accelerating science

ABOUT THESES
The theses collection aims to cover as well as possible all theses in particle physics and its related fields.
The collection starts with the thesis of Feynman, defended in 1942, and covers now alltogether more than 3000 theses. Most of the documents are held as hard copies, theses from later years are available electronically. (Note also that many theses are not physically held by the CERN Library.)

Study of charm hadronisation in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ALICE experiment / Giacalone, Marco
In high-energy hadron collisions, the production at parton level of heavy-flavour quarks (charm and bottom) is described by perturbative Quantum Chromo-dynamics (pQCD) calculations, given the hard scale set by the quark masses [...]

First measurement of the absorption of anti-3He and anti-3H nuclei in matter and its impact on anti-3He propagation in the galaxy / Konigstorfer, Stephan Alexander
Antinuclei in cosmic rays have long been considered a golden channel for indirect WIMP dark matter searches, since WIMPs are predicted to be able to annihilate to create antinuclei [...]
