50 years of personal memories

The official book for CERN's 50th anniversary will be available as from the Open Day on 16 October. This beautiful book of about 250 pages tells of half a century of events and achievements at CERN through the eyes of 62 witnesses. Administrators, physicists and engineers recall both large and small events in the history of the Laboratory. This luxury edition features many magnificent photographs - often not well known - from CERN's valuable photo archive.
