ELAG2005



The 29th ELAG (European Library Automation Group)Seminar took place at CERN from 1st to 4th June.

Once a year the Group brings together people involved in library automation in the leading European libraries and information centres. The organization has 450 members from 27 countries all over Europe. In the last few years over 100 people have attended the seminars.

This year's very successful event was devoted to Open Access, a very hot topic these days.

The 120 participants were enrolled in nine different workshops, covering several topics ranging from inter-library loans to RSS, e-books and many more. The seminar was sponsored by ExLibris Ltd., the Institute of Physics, VTLS Inc., Elsevier and Ebsco.
