Information for stores users
The Farnell catalogue can now be accessed from the Material Request form on EDH in addition to the CERN Stores catalogue.
Users can order Farnell equipment as well as standard Stores equipment at the same time using a single document, the EDH Materials Request form. The Materials Request form offers users items from both the internal 'Stores' catalogue and the external 'Farnell' catalogue, all of which may be ordered on the same form.
The system automatically forwards orders for standard Stores equipment to the CERN Stores and those for Farnell equipment to Farnell. The delivery time is 48 hours in both cases.
Requests for materials are routed for approval in accordance with the standard EDH routing procedures.
