ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE END-OF-YEAR CLOSURE

Hostels on the CERN site

During the CERN shutdown over Christmas and the New Year, the hostels will be closed from midday on Wednesday, 21 December 2005 until 7.30 a.m. on Thursday, 5 January 2006.
All accounts must be settled and room keys returned to the Reception before 10.00 a.m. on Wednesday, 21 December 2005.

Hostel in St. Genis-Pouilly

The wing reserved for CERN will be closed from midday on Wednesday, 21 December 2005 until 8.00 a.m. on Thursday, 5 January 2006.

Anyone with no alternative but to stay in the hostel during this period can be accommodated in another part of the building, subject to availability. Those concerned must make the appropriate reservations in person at the Reception of the St. Genis Hostel as early as possible and in any case no later than Wednesday, 14 December 2005.

The total stay during the two weeks in question must be paid for in advance, no later than Wednesday, 14 December 2005.

After this date, any reservations that have not been paid for will be cancelled.
