CERN is organising a series of lectures based on the exhibition Thursday 12 October, 8.00 p.m. (in French) - From physics to medical imaging Paul Lecoq, a CERN physicist, and Professor Olivier Mundler from the Timone Hospital (Marseille) The technologies developed at CERN are widely used in fields other than particle physics. Medicine, and medical imaging in particular, has directly benefited from the work done on particle detectors.
