Arrangements for the end of the year closure:

Hostels on the CERN site

During the closure of CERN for Christmas and the New Year, the hostels will be closed from mid-day on Friday, December 22, 2006 until Monday, January 8, 2007 at 7h30.

All accounts must be settled and room keys returned to the Reception before 10 a.m. on Friday, December 22, 2006.

Hostel in St. Genis-Pouilly

The wing reserved for CERN will be closed from mid-day on Friday, December 22, 2006 until Monday, January 8, 2007 at 8h00.

Anyone with no alternative but to stay in the hostel during this period can be accommodated in another part of the building, subject to the number of rooms available. The people concerned must make the appropriate reservations in person at the Reception of the St. Genis Hostel, as far in advance as possible and in any case no later than Friday, December 15, 2006.

The total length of stay during the two weeks in question must be paid for in advance, no later than Friday, December 15, 2006.

All reservations remaining unpaid after this date will be cancelled.
