RoHS directive: restriction of the use of lead in electronic equipment

The European Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, which entered into force on 1st July 2006, restricts the use of lead in the manufacture of electronic equipment.

This has many consequences for the manufacture of printed circuit boards and assemblies, from their design and repair to the purchase of components.

If you have any questions on this subject, we invite you to attend a training session which will be held at CERN from 1.30 to 5.30 p.m. on 21st June.

All the details, including the course contents and instructions on how to register for it, can be found here.

Please note that the session will be held in French.
