Italian Visit

The Italian Minister of Education, University and Research, Mariastella Gelmini, came to CERN on 11 March. She visited both the ATLAS and CMS caverns and the LHC tunnel with CERN Director-General Rolf Heuer, Director for Research and computing Sergio Bertolucci, ATLAS spokesperson Fabiola Gianotti and CMS deputy Spokesperson Guido Tonelli. She later returned to the surface to meet Italian staff.
