Christmas Party for children at CERN !

The CERN Children's Christmas Party, bringing together the children of employed staff members, aged between five and seven, for an afternoon filled with magic has taken place every year, ever since the creation of the Staff Association.

This year the celebration took place on Saturday, December 1st and welcomed no fewer than 200 children, over two sessions, during the afternoon. The children were whisked off to a world of enchantment, thanks to the show, "Father Christmas, watch out for the Cloud!” where they followed the adventures of little Lili, the Reindeer and Father Christmas himself, a whole adventure filled with Christmas magic.

The children were then treated to some Christmas party food; we should like to thank Novae for their help and generous contribution to this great event.

While children were all busy enjoying their treat, Father Christmas himself made a special appearance distributing gifts to all the children.

The Staff Association should like to thank him warmly for having taken some time out of his very busy upcoming schedule to visit CERN and bring happiness not only to the children present, but also to those who are a little older.

We should like to thank all the parents for their precious collaboration and wish you all a happy holiday season.

Looking forward to seeing you next year!
