| Abstract | We report preliminary results on a search for new physics in an event sample with monojets and large missing transverse momentum in the final state. The analysis uses 1 fb-1 of data collected in 2011 with the ATLAS detector. This note follows closely the analysis procedure described in the published PLB with only minor modifications, and updates previous results using more than twenty times more data. Good agreement is observed between the number of events in data and the Standard Model predictions. The results are translated into improved limits on a model with Large Extra Dimensions. |
