Leakage current of high-fluence neutron-irradiated 8" silicon sensors for the CMS Endcap Calorimeter Upgrade / CMS HGCAL Collaboration
The HL-LHC will challenge the detectors with a nearly 10-fold increase in integrated luminosity compared to the previous LHC runs combined, thus the CMS detector will be upgraded to face the higher levels of radiation and the larger amounts of collision data to be collected. [...]

Study on discharge and short circuit generation in CMS GE1/1 triple-GEM detectors during Run 3 / CMS GEM Group of the Collaboration
The installation of the new GE1/1 station of Gas ElectronMultiplier (GEM) detectors in the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS)experiment was completed during the Long Shutdown 2 (LS2) phase ofthe Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The GE1/1 station has beenoperational in the CMS detector since the beginning of the Run-3data-taking phase, and for the first time the GEM technology wasdeployed on a large scale, comprised of 144 chambers and tested inrunning conditions as integral part of the CMS data acquisition, reconstruction, and analysis chain. Proton reconstruction with the TOTEM Roman pot detectors for high-$ \beta^* $ LHC data / Hayrapetyan, Aram (Yerevan Phys. Inst.) ; Tumasyan, Armen (Yerevan Phys. Inst.) ; Adam, Wolfgang (Vienna, OAW) ; Andrejkovic, Janik Walter (Vienna, OAW) ; Benato, Lisa (Vienna, OAW) ; Bergauer, Thomas (Vienna, OAW) ; Chatterjee, Suman (Vienna, OAW) ; Damanakis, Konstantinos (Vienna, OAW) ; Dragicevic, Marko (Vienna, OAW) ; Hussain, Priya Sajid (Vienna, OAW) et al.
The TOTEM Roman pot detectors are used to reconstruct the transverse momentum of scattered protons and to estimate the transverse location of the primary interaction. This paper presents new methods of track reconstruction, measurements of strip-level detection efficiencies, cross-checks of the LHC beam optics, and detector alignment techniques, along with their application in the selection of signal collision events. Measurement of the background in the CMS muon detector in ${p}{p}$-collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ $\,\text {Te}\hspace{-.08em}\text {V}$ / CMS Muon Collaboration
The CMS detector, including its muon system, has been operating at the CERN LHC in increasingly challenging conditions for about 15 years. The muon detector was designed to provide excellent triggering and track reconstruction for muons produced in proton–proton collisons at an instantaneous luminosity ($\mathcal {L}$) of $1 \times 10^{34}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. Using graph neural networks to reconstruct charged pion showers in the CMS High Granularity Calorimeter / CMS HGCAL Collaboration
A novel method to reconstruct the energy of hadronic showers in the CMS High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL) is presented. The HGCAL is a sampling calorimeter with very fine transverse and longitudinal granularity. [...]

Nonresonant central exclusive production of charged-hadron pairs in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV / CMS and TOTEM Collaboration
The central exclusive production of charged-hadron pairs in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV is examined, based on data collected in a special high-$ \beta^* $ run of the LHC. The nonresonant continuum processes are studied with the invariant mass of the centrally produced two-pion system in the resonance-free region, $ m_{\pi^{+}\pi^{-}} < $ 0.7 GeV or $ m_{\pi^{+}\pi^{-}} > $ 1.8 GeV. The Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) detectors of the GE1/1 station of the CMS experiment have been operated in the CMS magnetic field for the first time on the 7$^{th}$ of October 2021. During the magnetic field ramps, several discharge phenomena were observed, leading to instability in the GEM High Voltage (HV) power system. [...]

Search for high-mass exclusive diphoton production with tagged protons in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} = $ 13 TeV / CMS Collaboration
A search is presented for high-mass exclusive diphoton production via photon-photon fusion in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} = $ 13 TeV in events where both protons survive the interaction. The analysis utilizes data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 103 fb$ ^{-1} $ collected in 2016--2018 with the central CMS detector and the CMS and TOTEM precision proton spectrometer (PPS).
