Light (anti)nuclei production with the ALICE experiment at the LHC / Rasà, M (Catania U. ; INFN, Catania) /ALICE Collaboration
The measurement of light (anti)nuclei production in high-energy pp, p–A, and A–A collisions is a powerful tool to understand the hadronization process. The ALICE experiment, among the LHC experiments, is particularly well suited for the study of light (anti)nuclei production thanks to its excellent tracking capabilities and particle identification in a wide range of transverse momentum. Particles with mass numbers up to A=4, such as (anti)deuterons, (anti)tritons, (anti)3He, and (anti)4He have been successfully identified in the pseudorapidity region |.| < 0.9. In this contribution selected results on light (anti)nuclei production are presented, such as particle yields, transverse momentum distribution and comparison with hadronization models. [...]

ALICE ITS3: A truly cylindrical vertex detector based on bent, wafer-scale stitched CMOS sensors / Liu, Jian (Liverpool U.) /ALICE Collaboration
The new inner tracking system (ITS2) of the ALICE experiment at the LHC, upgraded during the LHC Long Shutdown 2 (2019–2021) with CMOS monolithic active pixel sensors (ALPIDE), is currently taking data and demonstrating excellent performance in the LHC Run 3. A replacement of the three innermost layers of the ITS2, called ITS3, is foreseen during the LHC Long Shutdown 3 (2026–2028) to further improve its tracking precision and efficiency, particularly at very low transverse momentum down to pT = 0.1 GeV/c. Results of the new MAPS-based ALICE inner tracker operations in the LHC Run 3 / Ravasenga, Ivan (CERN) /ALICE Collaboration
The new ALICE Inner Tracking System (ITS2), installed in ALICE in May 2021 during a major upgrade campaign, significantly enhances the resolution on the determination of the distance of closest approach to the primary vertex, the tracking efficiency at low transverse momenta, and the read-out rate capabilities with respect to the previous tracker. Electromagnetic radiation in pp and Pb--Pb collisions with dielectrons in ALICE / MuraKami, Hikari (Tokyo U., CNS, Saitama) /ALICE Collaboration
