Physics Preliminary Summary: D$^0$ meson yields as a function of the underlying event activity in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV /ALICE Collaboration
This public note presents the first measurement by the ALICE experiment of D$^0$ production as a function of the transverse event activity classifier $R_{\rm T}$ in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV at central rapidity ($|\eta|<0.8$). Events containing a leading particle with $p_{\rm T}^{\rm lead}>5$ GeV/$c$ that have above-average underlying event activity suggest a higher per-event D$^0$ yield in the toward region than events with below-average underlying event activity for $2 < p_{\rm T}^{\rm D^0} < 5$ GeV/$c$. Supplemental figures: ``Towards the understanding of the genuine three-body interaction for p–p–p and p–p–$\Lambda$'' /ALICE Collaboration
This note provides supplementary figures for the paper ``Towards the understanding of the genuine three-body interaction for p--p--p and p--p--$\Lambda$''. The mixed event distributions and the 2D momentum resolution matrices are shown for the studied triplets. [...]

Hyperloop is the analysis train system for ALICE Run~3 and 4, replacing the LEGO Train System used in Run~1 and 2. It has been fully integrated with the {$\mathrm{O^2}$} analysis framework to enable analysis on the exceptionally large data samples recorded in Run~3 and 4. [...]

Physics performance of the ALICE Forward Calorimeter upgrade /ALICE collaboration
The ALICE Collaboration proposes to instrument the existing ALICE detector with a forward calorimeter system (FoCal), planned to take data during LHC Run 4 (2029$-$2032). The FoCal detector is a highly-granular Si+W electromagnetic calorimeter combined with a conventional sampling hadronic calorimeter, covering the pseudo-rapidity interval of $3.2<\eta<5.8$. [...]

Chasing the onset of strange-quark thermalization at the LHC /ALICE collaboration
This note presents the first measurement of event-by-event fluctuations of the net-$\Xi^\pm$ number and of its correlation with the net-kaon number. The study is based on data collected by the ALICE Collaboration in pp, p$-$Pb, and Pb$-$Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy per nucleon--nucleon pair $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=5.02\ \mathrm{TeV}$. Upgrade of the ALICE Inner Tracking System during LS3: study of physics performance /ALICE Collaboration
This document summarises the studies on several observables whose measurement will be made accessible or largely improved by the upgrade of the inner barrel of the ALICE Inner Tracking System (ITS) for the LHC Run~4 (2029--2032). This upgrade project foresees the construction of a new inner barrel, denominated ITS3, made of three new fully cylindrical ultra-thin layers of monolithic active pixel sensors. [...]

Supplemental material: Azimuthal anisotropy of jet particles in p-Pb and Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV /ALICE collaboration
The azimuthal anisotropy of particles associated with jets (jet particles) at midrapidity is measured for the first time in p$-$Pb and Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV down to transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) of 0.5~GeV/$c$ and 2~GeV/$c$, respectively, with ALICE. The azimuthal anisotropy coefficient $v_2$ in high-multiplicity p$-$Pb collisions is positive, with a significance reaching 6.8$\sigma$ at low $p_{\rm T}$, and its magnitude is smaller than in semicentral Pb$-$Pb collisions. Enhanced deuteron coalescence probability in jets. Supplemental Material: a model based on PYTHIA 8 and simple nucleon coalescence} /ALICE collaboration
This Note contains a detailed description of a simple nucleon coalescence model, where the phase space distributions of nucleons are generated using PYTHIA 8 with the Monash 2013 tuning. The predictions of this model can be compared to measurements of the transverse-momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) spectra and coalescence parameters $B_2$ of (anti)deuterons in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = $13 TeV, in and out of jets [...]

Physics Preliminary Summary: W$^\pm$-boson production in p$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 8.16$ TeV and Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 5.02$ TeV /ALICE collaboration
The production of the W$^\pm$ bosons measured in p$-$Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon--nucleon collision $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 8.16$ TeV and Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV with ALICE at the LHC is presented. The W$^\pm$ bosons are measured via their muonic decay channel, with the muon reconstructed in the pseudorapidity region $-4 < \eta^\mu_{\rm lab} < -2.5$ with transverse momentum $p_{\rm T}^\mu > 10$ GeV/$c$.
