First measurement of antiproton cross-section in p-He collisions at the AMBER Experiment at CERN / Giordano, D (INFN, Turin) /AMBER Collaboration
One of the indirect detection methods of dark matter (DM) is based on the search of the products of DM annihilation or decay. They should appear as distortions in the gamma rays spectra and in the rare Cosmic Ray (CR) components, like antiprotons, positrons and antideuterons. [...]

The AMBER Experiment at CERN / Friedrich, Jan M (Munich, Tech. U.) /AMBER Collaboration
NA66/AMBER has been approved by CERN in 2020 as a new multipurpose facility for experiments in meson and baryon physics. In a first beamtime in 2023, data have been taken for the determination of antiproton production cross-sections in proton-helium collisions, needed for the interpretation of cosmic antimatter observations. [...]

First measurement of antiproton cross section in p-He collisions at the AMBER Experiment at CERN / Giordano, Davide (INFN, Turin) /AMBER Collaboration
One of the indirect detection methods of dark matter (DM) is based on the search of the products of DM annihilation or decay. They should appear as distortions in the gamma-ray spectra and in the rare Cosmic Ray (CR) components, like antiprotons, positrons and antideuterons, on top of the standard astrophysical production. Design and Testing of a new Tracking System for the Proton Charge Radius Measurement with the AMBER Experiment at CERN / Alexeev, M G (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Alice, C (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Amoroso, A (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Bajzek, M (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Chiosso, M (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Denisov, O (INFN, Turin ; CERN) ; Dreisbach, C (Munich, Tech. U.) ; Eichhorn, K (Munich, Tech. U.) ; Fischer, H (Freiburg U.) ; Friedrich, J M (Munich, Tech. U. ; ORIGINS, Garching) et al.
The concept of the unified tracking station designed for the proton charge-radius measurement planned at the AMBER (NA66) fixed-target experiment at CERN is presented. Composed of scintillating-fiber hodoscope and silicon-pixel detectors, it aims to provide 30 μrad angular resolution for the measurement of muons at momenta of 100 GeV with a time resolution of 1 ns at a nominal beam rate of 2×10$^6$ particles per second. Measurement of antiproton production cross sections for dark matter search at the AMBER Experiment at CERN / Giordano, Davide /AMBER Collaboration
The dominant part of the antiprotons in our galaxy originates from inelastic scattering of incoming cosmic rays off interstellar-medium (ISM) nuclei at rest and represents the background when searching for small contributions from exotic sources. The newborn AMBER experiment will be able to study the antiproton production cross sections in proton-proton and proton-4He scattering for projectile energies from several tens to a few hundreds of GeV. We present the development and testing of a Micromegas detector prototype and its front end intended to be a candidate for the substitutions of some of the Multiwire Proportional Chambers in the future AMBER (NA66) experiment at CERN. Results of the test of the first small size prototype are discussed..

Strange-Meson Spectroscopy – from COMPASS to AMBER / Wallner, S. (Munich, Max Planck Inst.) /COMPASS Collaboration ; AMBER Collaboration
COMPASS is a multi-purpose fixed-target experiment at CERN's M2 beam line aimed at studying the structure and spectrum of hadrons. It has collected the so far world's largest data set on diffractive production of the $K^-\pi^-\pi^+$ final state, which in principle gives access to all strange mesons. [...]

Spectroscopy, gluon structure and polarisability of kaons in the new QCD facility at the M2 beam line at CERN SPS / Badelek, Barbara (Warsaw U.) /COMPASS++/AMBER Collaboration
The COMPASS++ /AMBER (proto-) Collaboration proposes a broad experimental programme for the “New QCD facility at the M2 beam line of the CERN SP”, to ommense after 2021. Inthis article, a few of unique second-generation experimentsthat rely on high-energy high intensity RF-separated kaon beams planned to operate after 2026 are highlighted: the kaon spectroscopywith kaon beam, a study of the gluon distribution in the kaon via prompt-photon production and a kaon polarisability measurement..

Hadron research with AMBER at CERN / Friedrich, Jan (Munich, Tech. U.) /AMBER Collaboration
The recently approved NA66/AMBER experiment (Apparatus for Meson and Baryon Experimental Research) at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron pursues a broad research program in quantum chromodynamics. It ranges in its first phase from a precision measurement of the proton radius with a 100 GeV muon beam to investigating the quark-gluon structure of mesons in Drell-Yan processes. [...]
