CP violation in Bs decays (ATLAS) / Smizanska, Maria (Lancaster University, Department of Physics) /ATLAS Collaboration The measurement of decay of Bs0 mesons to the Jψφ final state is presented, based on an analysis−1 of 13 TeV proton–proton collisions using the full Run 2 dataset corresponding to 139 fb luminosity, collected with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The following quantities are measured: the CP-violating phase φs, the width difference ∆Γs between the Bs0 meson mass eigenstates, their mass difference ∆ms, and the average decay width Γs. Optimisation of the ATLAS Deep Learning Flavour Tagging Algorithm / Guth, Manuel (Albert-Ludwigs-Universitaet Freiburg) /ATLAS Collaboration The identification of heavy flavour jets (tagging) plays an important role in many physics analyses at the ATLAS experiment. It is an essential tool for precision measurements as well as for searches for new physics phenomena. [...] ATL-PHYS-SLIDE-2020-142.- Geneva : CERN, 2020 - 1 p. The ATLAS Muon Trigger Design and Performance / Drobac, Alec Swenson (Tufts University) /ATLAS Collaboration Muon triggers are essential for studying a variety of physics processes in the ATLAS experiment, including both standard model measurements and searches for new physics. The ATLAS muon trigger consists of a hardware based system (Level 1), as well as a software based reconstruction (High Level Trigger). [...] ATL-DAQ-SLIDE-2020-139.- Geneva : CERN, 2020 - 1 p. ATLAS Open Data: Data visualisation and educational physics analysis to re-discover the Higgs / Evans, Meirin Oan (University of Sussex) ; Sanchez Pineda, Arturo Rodolfo (INFN Gruppo Collegato di Udine, Dipartimento Politecnico di Ingegneria ed Architettura, Universita' di Udine, Udine) ; Serkin, Leonid (INFN Gruppo Collegato di Udine and ICTP, Trieste) /ATLAS Collaboration Modern particle physics analysis is carried out using sophisticated programming and coding. How, therefore, can we genuinely introduce students to experimental particle physics analysis without an initial exposure to the coding behind? The answer from ATLAS Open Data is to build tools for interactive data visualisation [...] ATL-OREACH-SLIDE-2020-138.- Geneva : CERN, 2020 - 1 p.
