Upgrade of the CERN cryogenic test facility for the HL-LHC superconducting magnets and superconducting links / Pirotte, O (CERN) ; Barbe, T (CERN) ; Buzio, M (CERN) ; Dassa, L (CERN) ; Gahier, V (CERN) ; Guillotin, N (CERN) ; Lees, A (CERN) ; Mangiarotti, F (CERN) ; Mauny, R (CERN) ; Ninet, G (CERN) et al.
New superconducting magnets, based on Nb$_{3}$Sn technology, have been developed for the HL-LHC project, the High-Luminosity upgrade of the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) at Interaction Points 1 and 5. These magnets require thorough testing in cryogenic conditions at 4.5 and 1.9 K before their installation into the LHC. [...]

How digital twins can help with operator training, an example with ATLAS and CMS detector’s cryogenics at CERN / Jimenez, L (CERN) ; Majorel, A (CERN ; GANIL) ; Bradu, B (CERN) ; Gahier, V (CERN)
This paper presents the implementation of a cryogenic process simulator applied to A Toroidal LHC Apparatus (ATLAS) and the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiments at CERN (European Organisation for Nuclear Research). Building upon the development of a digital twin of the complex LHC accelerator cryogenic system, this work extends its application to the specific needs of the ATLAS and CMS experiments and their dedicated cryogenic systems. Operation experience with a 1.8 K refrigeration unit during the 2024 LHC physics run at CERN / Naydenov, B (CERN) ; Delprat, L (CERN) ; Pezzetti, M (CERN) ; Bradu, B (CERN)
More than 6’000 hours of nominal cryogenic conditions were provided for the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) physics run during 2024, allowing to reach a record integrated luminosity of 124 inverse femtobarns. The cryogenic system availability during this year was of 96.5% (target 95% to 98%). [...]

A Helium Ion Linear Accelerator Optimised for Astatine Production / Vretenar, Maurizio (CERN) ; Lombardi, Alessandra (CERN) ; Nikitovic, Lazar (CERN ; Riga Tech. U.)
This paper presents the design of a linear accelerator optimised for the production of astatine-211, one of the most effective theragnostics isotopes for targeted alpha therapy of cancer (TAT). When attached to a carrier molecule that selectively binds to cancer cells, this powerful alpha emitter enables highly localised cell damage. [...]

Gamma Factory: A New Experimental Paradigm for CERN's HL-LHC--FCC-ee Transition / Krasny, Mieczyslaw Witold (LPNHE, Paris ; CERN)
The Gamma Factory (GF) proposal \cite{Krasny:2015ffb} is motivated by the recognition of a largely untapped potential of the CERN accelerator complex to enable a new research programme at the intersection of particle, nuclear, atomic, fundamental, and applied physics. [...]

FCC― 次世代円形衝突型加速器 / OIDE, Katsunobu (CERN ; U. Geneva (main) ; KEK, Tsukuba)
FCC is a project for a next generation circular collider based at CERN, as the next step of LEP/LHC experiments. It will have at least two stages : (i) measurements on electroweak (Z/W), Higgs, tt by e+e- collision (FCC-ee) and (ii) energy frontier pp collision (FCC-hh) up to 100 TeV center of mass (CM) energy. Both will be performed by colliders in the same tunnel with 90–100 km circumference built around the Geneva area across the Swiss-French border..
