First observation of the $\mathit{\Lambda}_b^{0}\!\rightarrow\mathit{\Lambda}_{c}^{+}D_{s}^{-}K^{+}K^{-}$ decay and search for pentaquarks in the $\mathit{\Lambda}_{c}^{+}D_{s}^{-}$ system
The $\mathit{\Lambda}_b^{0}\!\rightarrow\mathit{\Lambda}_{c}^{+}D_{s}^{-}K^{+}K^{-}$ decay is observed for the first time using the data sample from proton-proton collisions recorded at a center-of-mass energy of $13\,\text{TeV}$ with the LHCb detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $6\,\text{fb}^{-1}$. CMS results on dark QCD signatures (emerging jets, semivisible jets, SUEP) / Cazzaniga, Cesare Tiziano (Zurich, ETH) /CMS Collaboration
We present recent results from the CMS experiment on searches for strongly coupled dark sectors using data collected during LHC Run 2. Such models can give rise to unconventional final states that may evade traditional LHC searches, including jets with unusual substructure, events with high multiplicities of soft, spherically distributed particles, or multiple displaced vertices. This report focuses on the latter two scenarios. Recent results on searches with boosted Higgs bosons at CMS / Mokhtar, Farouk (UC, San Diego) /CMS Collaboration
The study of boosted Higgs bosons at the LHC provides a unique window to probe Higgs boson couplings at high energy scales and search for signs of physics beyond the standard model. In these proceedings, we present recent results on boosted Higgs boson searches at the CMS experiment, highlighting innovative reconstruction and tagging techniques that enhance sensitivity in this challenging regime..
