Exploring the Λ(1520) resonance in high-multiplicity proton–proton collisions at LHC energies with ALICE / Padhan, Sonali (Indian Inst. Tech., Mumbai) /ALICE Collaboration
Resonances play a crucial role in probing the characteristics of the hadronic phase created in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions. Rescattering and regeneration processes influence the measurable resonance yields and pT distributions. [...]

ALICE Forward Calorimeter upgrade (FoCal): Physics program and performance / Inaba, Motoi (Tsukuba U.) /ALICE Collaboration
A new high-precision forward calorimeter (FoCal) is about to be installed in the ALICE experiment at the LHC during Long Shutdown 3 for data-taking in the LHC Run 4 that is currently scheduled for the period 2030-2033. FoCal consists of a Si+W sampling electromagnetic calorimeter with longitudinal and transverse segmentations (FoCal-E) and a conventional Cu+scintillating-fiber hadronic calorimeter (FoCal-H). [...]

Probing the nature of electroweak symmetry breaking with Higgs boson pairs in ATLAS / Portillo Quintero, Dilia Maria /ATLAS Collaboration
In the Standard Model, the ground state of the Higgs field is not found at zero but instead corresponds to one of the degenerate solutions minimizing the Higgs potential. In turn, this spontaneous electroweak symmetry breaking provides a mechanism for the mass generation of nearly all fundamental particles [...]

The Large Hadron Collider's beam wire scanner consolidation / Emery, Jonathan (CERN) ; Guerrero, Ana (CERN) ; Goldblatt, Aurelie (CERN) ; Pasquino, Chiara (CERN) ; Belohrad, David (CERN) ; Roncarolo, Federico (CERN) ; Sullivan, Harry (CERN) ; Tassan-Viol, Jean (CERN) ; Littoz, Laetitia (CERN) ; Ramos, Maria Teresa (CERN) et al.
To serve the needs of the High Luminosity (HL) LHC, a consolidation of the beam wire scanner has been initiated. The instrument is a crucial tool for measuring the transverse beam profile by moving a thin carbon wire across the beam. [...]

Measurement of the Z boson invisible width at s = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector / Klassen, Martin (Tufts U.) /ATLAS Collaboration
A measurement of the invisible partial decay width of the Z boson is presented which constitutes a precision test of the electroweak structure of the Standard Model of particle physics. The Z boson decay width into invisible particles is measured with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider using 37 fb1 recorded proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV.Events with missing transverse momentum and at least one highly energetic jets are compared to events with Z boson decays into pairs of electrons or muons associated with jets. System testing of the CMS Endcap MIP Timing Layer / Fernández Madrazo, Celia (Boston U.) /CMS Collaboration
The high luminosity phase of the LHC (HL-LHC) opens up new windows for exciting discoveries but also brings about new challenges due to the high pileup environment of approximately 200 simultaneous interactions per collision. Precise measurements of track and vertex timing can efficiently mitigate these pileup effects. [...]

Study of γγγγ processes in UPC with future FoCal and ALICE 3 detector / Jucha, Pawel (Cracow, INP) ; Klusek-Gawenda, Mariola (Prague, Tech. U.) ; Szczurek, Antoni (Cracow, INP) /ALICE Collaboration
It was discussed how planned facilities may provide new information on γγγγ scattering in UPC of heavy ions. In some regions at the phase space, the hadronic excitation of both photons could be seen as a 10\% modification of the cross section with respect to the calculations with only boxes. [...]

The North Area facility (NA) receives the 400 GeV proton beam through a slow extraction process at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS). To improve the SPS spill quality, it is crucial to monitor the spill intensity from the nA up to the µA range with a bandwidth extending from a few Hz up to several GHz along the extraction line.
