Recent measurements and prospects from analysis of fixed-target collisions at LHCb / Pappalardo, L (Ferrara U.) /LHCb Collaboration
The LHCb spectrometer has the unique capability to function as a fixed-target experiment by injecting gas into the LHC beampipe while proton or ion beams are circulating. The resulting beam-gas collisions cover an unexplored energy range that is above previous fixed-target experiments, but below the RHIC or LHC collider energies. [...]

Charm physics studies at CMS / Penna, Luca Della (INFN, Perugia ; Perugia U.) /CMS Collaboration
Measuring the charm cross-section at CMS experiment at the LHC provides a test of Quantum Chromodynamics. The differential cross-section is extracted by studying the decay of $D*$ mesons, in a final state with $K\pi \pi$. [...]

Results on QGP by ATLAS and CMS / Krintiras, G K (Kansas U.) /ATLAS Collaboration ; CMS Collaboration
Quantum chromodynamics (QCD) on the lattice predicts that at high temperatures and energy densities, hadronic matter undergoes a phase transition and turns into a state of deconfined quarks and gluons known as quark-gluon plasma (QGP). This state of matter is typically thought to be created in the collisions of two heavy nuclei at ultrarelativistic energies, like the ones reached at the LHC. [...]

Beam coupling impedance of the main extraction kickers in the CERN PS / Neroni, M (CERN ; U. Rome La Sapienza (main)) ; Barnes, M J (CERN) ; Lasheen, A (CERN) ; Mostacci, A (U. Rome La Sapienza (main)) ; Popovic, B (Argonne) ; Vollinger, C (CERN)
In view of the High Luminosity (HL) upgrade of the LHC, thebeam intensity must be doubled in the injector chain. To performreliable beam dynamics simulations, the beam coupling impedance inthe injectors, such as the Proton Synchrotron (PS), must be followedclosely by including all contributing elements into the impedancemodel. Particle Transformer for $\tau$ lepton pair invariant mass reconstruction for the $HH\to b \bar{b} \tau^+\tau^-$ CMS analysis / Camagni, V (INFN, Milan Bicocca ; Milan Bicocca U.) /CMS Collaboration
One of the most interesting channels to probe theories beyond the Standard Model at the Large Hadron Collider is the production of a new massive particle, that decays into pairs of Higgs bosons which, in turn, decay into a pair of $b$-quarks and a pair of $\tau$ leptons. A fundamental discriminant variable to separate $HH$ signal from the backgrounds is the invariant mass of the di-$\tau$ system. [...]

Mitigation Strategies for the Instabilities Induced by the Fundamental Mode of the HL-LHC Crab Cavities / Giacomel, Lorenzo (CERN) ; Baudrenghien, Philippe (CERN) ; Buffat, Xavier (CERN) ; Calaga, Rama (CERN) ; Mounet, Nicolas (CERN)
The transverse impedance is one of the potentially limiting effects for the performance of the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC). In the current LHC, the impedance is dominated by the resistive-wall contribution of the collimators at typical bunch-spectrum frequencies, and is of broad-band nature. [...]

Prospects for measuring $A^b_{FB}$ at the ATLAS experiment at the LHC and at the FCC-ee / Toffolin, L (Trieste U. ; INFN, Udine) /ATLAS Collaboration ; RD-FCC Collaboration
Standard Model parameter determinations are still not satisfactory from LEP measurements, which can be better defined with the new measurements performed with ATLAS. Preliminary studies based on simulated events and part of the LHC Run-2 data collected by the ATLAS experiment are presented, where the suggestion of a new experimental determination of the asymmetry $A^b_{FB}$ is given. Furthermore a feasibility study on the  $A^b_{FB}$  measurement in the production of a $b\bar{b}$ pair from a decaying Z boson at the FCC-ee, with a parametric detector simulation tuned to the current design parameters of the IDEA detector and of the FCC-ee accelerator are also discussed. Techniques for hadron spectroscopy studies at LHCb / Wang, M (INFN, Milan) /LHCb Collaboration
The large heavy-flavor dataset collected by the LHCb experiment offers a good opportunity to investigate the inner structure of hadrons and helps to improve the knowledge of the strong interaction. With the ever larger data samples collected by LHCb, constant improvements of analysis methods are in demand, including for example advanced computing techinques to handle the huge data sample and the phenomenological tools to reduce the systematic uncertainties. Overview and new directions about light (anti)nuclei measurements with ALICE / M Rasà (Catania U. ; INFN, Catania) /ALICE Collaboration
The production of light (anti)nuclei has been measured by the ALICE experiment in the last decade. Despite the abundance of experimental results, the production mechanism of light (anti)nuclei is still mysterious and under intense debate in the scientific community. [...]

A study of $K^- d$ and $K^+ d$ interactions via femtoscopy technique / Rzesa, W (Warsaw U. of Tech. (main)) /ALICE Collaboration
Scattering cross-section measurements have been used to study the strong interaction between charged kaons and (anti-)deuterons. However, these studies have not been successful in determining the scattering lengths of the strong interaction between $K^+d$ and $K^-d$. [...]
