Full and Fast Simulation CPU Performance Studies
/CMS Collaboration
The following plots show historical trends of the CMS detector Full and Fast Simulation CPU time performance of Run-2/13 TeV and Run-3/14 TeV data. Fast Simulation provides a fast and reliable alternative tool to the Geant-based Full Simulation.

Tracker alignment performance in 2022 (addendum)
/CMS Collaboration
An accurate determination of the geometry of the inner tracking system of the CMS experiment, which comprises Silicon Pixel and Silicon Strip detectors, is of vital importance for a precise measurement of the momentum of charged particles and reconstruction of primary and secondary vertices. The process of determining the geometry parameters of the inner tracking system is called tracker alignment.

First Measurements of Muon Bending Angles in the CMS GE1/1-ME1/1 System
/CMS Collaboration
The achieving acceptable first level trigger rates for muons with reasonably low transverse momentum ($p_{T}$) thresholds is viable for the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) detector. In order to retain the current standalone muon trigger capability even with high occupancy in the endcap region during the high luminosity LHC (HL-LHC), the Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) subdetector system was designed.

40 MHz Scouting with Deep Learning in CMS
/CMS Collaboration
This document describes a proof-of-concept study on the possibility of using a neural network to correct the Level-1 (L1) Trigger Muon objects to improve their quality for real-time analysis as part of a 40 MHz scouting system. L1 scouting is the concept of reading out L1 trigger objects at the full bunch crossing rate. This allows for analysis of event types that are too frequent to be part of the nominal L1 menu.

Early Run 3 tracking performance
/CMS Collaboration
It is of great importance to check the agreement of reconstructed track properties between Data and Monte-Carlo simulation using the CMS Tracker Detector. This is necessary to verify the ingredients used to produce large simulated event samples used for physics analysis, but also to benchmark promptly the reconstruction performance against simulation based expectations.

Performance of JetMET high level trigger algorithms in the CMS experiment using proton-proton collisions data at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV during Run-2
/CMS Collaboration
The performance of the high level trigger (HLT) algorithms involving jets and missing transverse momentum (MET or $\mathrm{p_{T}^{miss}}$) used in the CMS experiment are studied using full Run-2 luminosity of 137.5 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. The analysed proton-proton collision dataset, having centre of mass energy 13 TeV, is recorded using orthogonal trigger algorithms, namely the isolated single muon or single electron triggers.
