Performance studies of the HGCAL trigger primitive generation stage 2 clustering algorithm and optimisation of cluster properties for electromagnetic shower identification in the central Level-1 Trigger /CMS Collaboration
This note presents recent developments of the High Granularity Calorimeter (HGCAL) Trigger Primitive Generation (TPG) system, which reconstructs three-dimensional energy clusters from particle showers in the Stage-2 backend electronics. The study focuses on a comparative evaluation of the clustering algorithm for different choices of the cluster size. [...]

GE1/1 Radmon system and data processing overview for Run 3 /CMS Collaboration
The muon system of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experiment at CERN consists of 4 muon detection subsystems, one of which is the Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM). 12 RadMon sensors are mounted on the 1st endcap station of the GEM detector (GE 1/1) for measuring the accumulated neutron fluence and total ionisation dose (TID). [...]

Experimental inputs to the BTL digitization model /CMS Collaboration
The update to the Barrel Timing Layer (BTL) digitization model with respect to the implementation reported in the CMS MTD TDR is presented, exploiting experimental inputs from recent laboratory and test beam measurements on sensor prototypes with the final BTL sensors layout. The purpose of this update is to describe the response of the BTL sensors in their final configuration (3.75 mm thick LYSO:Ce crystals, 25 $\mu$m cell-size SiPMs, readout with the TOFHIR2C ASIC). The TOFHIR2 readout ASIC features 32 independent channels with three branches for timing, energy discrimination, and charge integration. [...]

DT Trigger Primitives BX mis-ID studies for the Phase 2 upgrade /CMS Collaboration
With the so called Phase 2 upgrade, which the CMS Drift Tubes (DT) will undergo during the LHC Long Shut Down 3, the DT time resolution at the local trigger level will greatly improve. Therefore the Bunch Crossing identification capability associated to Trigger Primitive generation is also expected to improve. [...]

Efficiency and Timing Results of Mass Produced ME0 Stacks /CMS Collaboration
To better cope with the harsher environments of the high-luminosity (HL-LHC) scheduled for Run 4 and beyond, the CMS Muon system is being upgraded. One of these upgrades is the addition to the existing gas electron multiplier (GEM) detector system a new station of GEM detectors called ME0. [...]

Pixel Auto-masking, Occupancy, and Cluster Size versus $\eta$ in 2025 /CMS Collaboration
This note presents studies of pixel automasking, detector occupancy, and on-track cluster size in CMS Run 3 proton-proton data at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13.6 TeV. A fraction of Pixel Barrel Layer 1 channels is observed to be automasked during stable beams due to out-of-sync errors, with rates evolving as a function of pile-up, luminosity, and accumulated radiation. Results from GEM Magnet Tests 2024-2025 /CMS Collaboration
The first full station of CMS GEM detectors, GE1/1, was operated for the first time in the CMS magnetic field in 2021. During this process, the generation of discharges and short circuits in the GEM foils were observed, and also during the CMS magnet ramps of the following years of the LHC Run-3. [...]

CSC gas gain stability monitoring using Run-2 data /CMS Collaboration
The Cathode Strip Chambers (CSCs) are multi-wire proportional chambers located in the endcap regions of the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC. The CSCs have accumulated a significant radiation dose since the start of LHC operations, and it is important to identify any signs of detector aging and confirm that the detector can sustain the full integrated luminosity of High-Luminosity LHC, expected to reach 3000 fb$^{-1}$. Barrel Timing Layer Time Monitoring and Calibration /CMS Collaboration
To fully exploit the timing capabilities of the MIP Timing Detector (MTD) in the reconstruction of charged particles, it is essential to develop robust tools for time monitoring and calibration of the detector channels with a precision at the level of a few picoseconds. Such tools are required to ensure long-term stability, promptly identify anomalous behaviors, and preserve the optimal timing performance throughout Phase-2 operations. [...]
