Terbium-152 is one of four terbium radioisotopes that together form a potential theranostic toolbox for the personalised treatment of tumours. As 152 Tb decay by positron emission it can be utilised for diagnostics by positron emission tomography. [...]

Coulomb excitation of Zn74,76
/ ISOLDE Collaboration
The first experiment using radioactive beams post-accelerated by the HIE-ISOLDE facility has enabled to obtain a precise set of B(E2) transition probabilities in neutron-rich Zn74,76 isotopes. The resulting B(E2; 21+→01+) values are consistent with those determined in earlier REX-ISOLDE measurements. [...]

(Bucharest, IFIN-HH ; Leuven U.) et al.
The $\beta$ decays from both the ground state and a long-lived isomer of $^{133}$In were studied at the ISOLDE Decay Station (IDS). With a hybrid detection system sensitive to $\beta$, $\gamma$, and neutron spectroscopy, the comparative partial half-lives (logft) have been measured for all their dominant $\beta$-decay channels for the first time, including a low-energy Gamow-Teller transition and several First-Forbidden (FF) transitions. Isomeric excitation energy for $^{99}$In$^{m}$ from mass spectrometry reveals constant trend next to doubly magic $^{100}$Sn
/ Nies, L. (CERN ; Greifswald U.) ; Atanasov, D. (CERN) ; Athanasakis-Kaklamanakis, M. (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Au, M. (CERN ; Mainz U.) ; Blaum, K. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Dobaczewski, J. (Warsaw U.) ; Hu, B.S. (TRIUMF) ; Holt, J.D. (TRIUMF ; McGill U.) ; Karthein, J. (MIT) ; Kulikov, I. (Darmstadt, GSI) et al.
The excitation energy of the 1/2$^-$ isomer in $^{99}$In at ${N=50}$ is measured to be 671(37) keV and the mass uncertainty of the 9/2$^+$ ground state is significantly reduced using the ISOLTRAP mass spectrometer at ISOLDE/CERN. The measurements exploit a major improvement in the resolution of the multi-reflection time-of-flight mass spectrometer. [...]

In-source and in-trap formation of molecular ions in the actinide mass range at CERN-ISOLDE

The use of radioactive molecules for fundamental physics research is a developing interdisciplinary field limited dominantly by their scarce availability. In this work, radioactive molecular ion beams containing actinide nuclei extracted from uranium carbide targets are produced via the Isotope Separation On-Line technique at the CERN-ISOLDE facility.
