Dark photon search in $\pi^0\to e^+e^-\gamma$ decays
/LHCb Collaboration
This note is dedicated to a figure of the $e^+e^- \gamma$ invariant mass to be shown at the first LHCb workshop about feebly-interacting particles (FIPs) FIPs at LHCb. The aim is to show the performance of LHCb to access dark photon masses below the dimuon mass threshold..

Background study from BuSca: Insights from October 2024 LHCb data
/LHCb Collaboration
This figure document follows LHCb-FIGURE-2024-036. BuSca is an algorithm designed for long lifetime particle (LLP) searches at 30 MHz, based on downstream reconstructed tracks at HLT1 level, which also provides dedicated HLT2 lines. [...]

Track Momentum Resolution at LHCb in 2024
/LHCb collaboration
The long track momentum resolution is a key metric for evaluating the performance of the tracking system at LHCb. It can be estimated from the mass resolution of reconstructed $J\psi$ candidates. [...]

Dark Count Rate measurement of the LHCb SciFi SiPMs as a function of the total delivered luminosity up to 12.5 1/fb
/LHCb Collaboration
We present the measurement of the Dark Count Rate (DCR) per SiPM channel recorded during 2024 as a function of the total delivered luminosity experienced by the detector since its installation, up to 12.5 fb$^{-1}$. In particular, the DCR averaged over few SiPMs in the innermost part of each tracking station is presented in the figure, for the detector operated cold at $-40^\circ$C, and annealing periods (where the detector has been heated up to $\sim 25^\circ$C) are highlighted on the plot..

BuSca: a Buffer Scanner at HLT1 using 2024 LHCb data
/LHCb Collaboration
BuSca is an algorithm designed for real-time particle searches, taking benefit of the enhanced parallelization capabilities of the new LHCb trigger scheme implemented on GPUs. BuSca is focused on downstream reconstructed tracks at HLT1 level, detected exclusively by the UT and SciFi detectors. [...]

HLT1 Downstream performance in 2024 data-taking
/LHCb Collaboration
This document presents various performance plots of HLT1 downstream tracking during the 2024 data-taking. This is the first time LHCb has taken data with downstream tracking in HLT1, starting from the afternoon of 2024-10-03. [...]

The Bandwidth of the LHCb trigger on data and simulation in Autumn 2024
/LHCb Collaboration
This figure document contains a selection of bar charts showing the bandwidth of the LHCb trigger in late August-early October 2024, as measured by the LHCbPR UpgradeRateTest framework. There are three such plots: firstly, the HLT2 bandwidth of all streams to tape as measured on upgrade minimum-bias simulation with a HLT1 and HLT2 from late August; secondly, on the same sample, a breakdown of the rates that each physics working group is contributing to the HLT2 Full stream; finally - and most importantly - the Sprucing bandwidth of all streams to disk on HLT1-filtered real data from Run 307531 (October 2nd) with a software stack compiled in early October. [...]
