HLT1 trigger efficiencies in 2024 data
/LHCb Collaboration
This FIGURE note presents efficiencies of the LHCb HLT1 trigger (namely of the ${\tt HLT1(Two)TrackMVA}$ trigger lines) in $pp$ collision data taken by the LHCb detector in 2024. Direct comparisons to the equivalent trigger efficiencies in Run 2 (combined efficiencies of L0 and HLT1) are established. [...]

Comparison of alignment performance employing V0 mass plots with Run 3 commissioning data
/LHCb collaboration
A very precise knowledge of the position and orientation of all LHCb sub-detectors is crucial to obtain the best-quality data for physics analyses. In particular, the alignment of the LHCb tracker has a large impact on the reconstructed track $\chi^2$, which affects the number of tracks that can be reconstructed and the track momentum resolution. [...]

HLT1 RICH decoding algorithm performance
/LHCb Collaboration
The first two figures show the LHCb experiment with a zoom to the RICH 1 sub-detector and the second one is a schematic of the data flow with an emphasis on the current effort presented on the paper. The third figure compares throughput between the CPU and GPU algorithms using different hardware configurations for 3 different LHCb runs. [...]

Prospects for heavy-ion physics with LHCb Upgrade II
/LHCb Collaboration
Projections for heavy-ion measurements using the LHCb Upgrade II detector are shown. The projections assume an integrated luminosity of $10~{\rm nb}^{-1}$ of PbPb collisions. [...]

Upsilon mass peaks in 2024 data
/LHCb Collaboration
This document shows the dimuon invariant mass spectrum in $\Upsilon(1S), \Upsilon(2S), \Upsilon(3S)$ signal region, using LHCb $pp$ interaction dataset collected in 2024 with the latest alignment being implemented. The $\Upsilon(1S)$ peak is well separated from the other two $\Upsilon$ states, and the overlap between $\Upsilon(2S), \Upsilon(3S)$ peaks is also small, which indicates a good momentum resolution..

$\psi(2S)$ invariant mass and pseudolifetime 2D fit using 2024 data
/LHCb Collaboration
This document presents the two dimensional fit result of the dimuon invariant mass spectrum and pseudo-lifetime of $\psi(2S)\to\mu^+\mu^-$ samples collected by the LHCb experiment in 2024, in $pp$ interactions with a center-of-mass energy of 13.6 $\text{TeV}$. The two dimensional fit will enable the extraction of signal yields of $\psi(2S)$ particles either originating from prompt production or from b-hadron decays [...]

Charm results in SMOG2 2024 data
/LHCb collaboration
The invariant mass spectrum of several charm mesons is reported, using data of proton-hydrogen ($p\mathrm{H}_{2}$) and proton-argon ($p\mathrm{Ar}$) collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=113\ \text{GeV}$ collected by LHCb in its fixed-target configuration in 2024. The $p\mathrm{H}_2$ dataset corresponds to 39 hours of hydrogen gas injection in the SMOG2 system, while the pAr dataset was collected during 88 hours of Argon injection. [...]

Rare electroweak penguin decays in 2024 data
/LHCb Collaboration
The first mass fits to rare ${B^+\to K^+\mu^+\mu^-}$ and ${B^0\to K^{*0}\mu^+\mu^-}$ decays, selected from the 2024 LHCb dataset, are presented. These results show qualitative agreement with the mass shape and purity observed in the data collected between 2011 and 2018 by the LHCb experiment [...]
