Performance of the LHCb muon detector in Run 3 / Albicocco, P. (Frascati) ; Anelli, M. (Frascati) ; Archilli, F. (INFN, Rome ; Rome U., Tor Vergata) ; Atzeni, M. (MIT) ; Baldini, W. (INFN, Ferrara) ; Balla, A. (Frascati) ; Belin, S. (Santiago de Compostela U., IGFAE) ; Bondar, N. (Unlisted) ; Brundu, D. (INFN, Cagliari) ; Cadeddu, S. (INFN, Cagliari) et al.
In Run 3 of the LHC, the instantaneous luminosity at the LHCb interaction point has been increased by a factor of five, from $4\times 10^{32}\rm{cm}^{-2}\rm{s}^{-1}$ to $2\times 10^{33}\rm{cm}^{-2}\rm{s}^{-1}$. Several hardware interventions, including a complete overhaul of the readout electronics, have been carried out on the muon detector. [...]

Minimising event size, maximising physics : inclusive particle isolation for LHCb’s Run 3 / Calvi, Marta (Milan Bicocca U.) ; Fulghesu, Tommaso (Marseille, CPPM) ; Hallett, George (Warwick U.) ; Hartman, Luca (CERN ; Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Khanji, Basem (Syracuse U.) ; Kirsebom, Veronica S. (Milan Bicocca U.) ; Latham, Thomas (Warwick U.) ; Lehuraux, Marion (Warwick U.) ; Li, Ching-Hua (Marseille, CPPM) ; Mathad, Abhijit (CERN) et al.
The Run 3 of the LHC brings unprecedented luminosity and a surge in data volume to the LHCb detector, necessitating a critical reduction in the size of each reconstructed event without compromising the physics reach of the heavy-flavour programme. While signal decays typically involve just a few charged particles, a single proton-proton collision produces hundreds of tracks, with charged particle information dominating the event size. [...]
