ABOUT PREPRINTS
The Preprints collection aims to cover as far as possible all the grey literature in particle physics and its related technologies. The collection contains something like 400,000 documents, out of which about 50% can be accessed electronically. The documents originate from a variety of institutes all over the world. The collection, currently available, starts in 1979 and it has a full coverage of the arXiv.org e-Print archive since its beginning in 1991.

Exploring small-angle emissions in charm quark jets in proton-proton collisions at $ \sqrt{s} = $ 5.02 TeV
A measurement of the angular structure of jets containing a prompt $ \mathrm{D^0} $ meson and of inclusive jets in proton-proton collisions at the LHC at a center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV is presented. [...]

The ratio of $\gamma / \pi^0$ production rates in neutrino-nucleus interactions at the $\Delta$ resonance mass region / Ioannisian, Ara N (CERN ; Yerevan Phys. Inst. ; ITPM, Yerevan)
We study the dependence of neutrino-induced γ/$\pi^0$ production ($\stackrel{ {(-)}}{\nu_\mu} + A \to \stackrel{ {(-)}}{\nu_\mu}(\mu) +\gamma/\pi^0 + X$) on the target nucleus A, at the $\Delta$ resonance mass region. [...]

STORI2024: Tests of Amorphous Carbon-coated Storage Cells for a Polarized Gas Target at LHCb and Further Results / El-Kordy, Tarek (FH Aachen (main) ; Unlisted, DE) ; Engels, Ralf (Darmstadt, GSI ; Unlisted, DE) ; Faatz, Nicolas (Darmstadt, GSI ; Unlisted, DE ; RWTH Aachen U.) ; Pinto, Pedro Costa (CERN) ; Di Nezza, Pasquale (Frascati) ; Ferro-Luzzi, Massimiliano (CERN) ; Grigoryev, Kiril (Darmstadt, GSI) ; Langer, Christoph (FH Aachen (main)) ; Kannis, Chrysovalantis (Heinrich Heine U., Dusseldorf) ; Pütz, Simon (Darmstadt, GSI ; Cologne U.)
As the LHC beams cannot be polarized, introducing a dense polarized gas target at the LHCb experiment at CERN, to be operated concurrently with beam-beam collisions, will facilitate fixed-target interactions to explore a new energy regime of spin physics measurements. [...]

Multi-loop spectra in general scalar EFTs and CFTs / Henriksson, Johan (CERN) ; Herzog, Franz (U. Edinburgh, Higgs Ctr. Theor. Phys.) ; Kousvos, Stefanos R. ; Roosmale Nepveu, Jasper
We consider the most general effective field theory (EFT) Lagrangian with scalar fields and derivatives, and renormalise it to substantially higher loop order than existing results in the literature. [...]

The multiplicity distributions of the high frequency gravitons / Giovannini, Massimo (CERN ; INFN, Milan Bicocca)
When the gravitons are created thanks to the variation of the space-time curvature the multiplicity distributions quantify the probability of producing a given number of species around the average occupation numbers of the underlying multiparticle states. [...]

Precision measurement of the ${\it{\Xi}}_b^0$ baryon lifetime / LHCb Collaboration
A sample of $pp$ collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb$^{-1}$ and collected by the LHCb experiment during LHC Run 2, is used to measure the ratio of the lifetime of the ${\it{\Xi}}_b^0$ baryon to that of the ${\it{\Lambda}}_b^0$ baryon, $r_{\tau}\equiv\tau_{{\it{\Xi}}_b^0}/\tau_{{\it{\Lambda}}_b^0}$.
