ABOUT PREPRINTS
The Preprints collection aims to cover as far as possible all the grey literature in particle physics and its related technologies. The collection contains something like 400,000 documents, out of which about 50% can be accessed electronically. The documents originate from a variety of institutes all over the world. The collection, currently available, starts in 1979 and it has a full coverage of the arXiv.org e-Print archive since its beginning in 1991.

What is the origin of the JWST SMBHs? / Ellis, John ; Fairbairn, Malcolm ; Urrutia, Juan ; Vaskonen, Ville
We present a new semi-analytical model for the evolution of galaxies and supermassive black holes (SMBHs) that is based on the extended Press-Schechter formalism and phenomenological modelling of star formation. [...]

First $D^0+\overline{D}^0$ measurement in heavy-ion collisions at SPS energies with NA61/SHINE / Merzlaya, Anastasia (U. Oslo (main))
The measurement of open charm meson production provides a tool for the investigation of the properties of the hot and dense matter created in nucleus-nucleus collisions at relativistic energies [...]

First Measurement of the Differential Muon Neutrino Interaction Cross Section and Flux in the TeV energy range at the LHC with FASER / Bockh, Tobias (University of Bonn (DE)) ; Bernlochner, Florian Urs (University of Bonn (DE)) ; Queitsch-Maitland, Michaela (The University of Manchester (GB)) ; Kling, Felix (University of Bonn (DE)) ; Filali, Wissal (University of Bonn (DE)) /FASER Collaboration
This letter presents the measurement of the differential neutrino-nucleon cross section and flux as functions of the neutrino energy. The data were recorded with the FASER detector at the Large Hadron Collider, operating at a center-of-mass energy of 13.6 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $65.6 \pm 1.4 \, \mathrm{fb^{-1}}$. We provide the first ab-initio calculation of the Euclidean long-distance window of the isospin symmetric light-quark connected contribution to the hadronic vacuum polarization for the muon $g-2$ and find $a_\mu^{\rm LD,iso, conn,ud} = 411.4(4.3)(2.4) \times 10^{-10}$. [...]
