Since 2019, the Extreme Energy Events (EEE) Project has installed three muon detection stations at the Svalbard Islands ($78.9^{\circ } \hbox {N}$ latitude), employing scintillator-based detectors. This initiative represents the first systematic effort to monitor cosmic-muons rates at high geomagnetic latitudes beyond the Arctic Circle, with the objective of improving our understanding of cosmic-ray propagation and modulation in polar regions. / Santos, Diogo Reis (CERN) ; Aillet, Albert Sund (CERN) ; Boiano, Antonio (Milan, Polytech.) ; Gennaro, Marco Di (Milan, Polytech.) ; Taiello, Riccardo (CERN) ; Milasheuski, Usevalad (Milan, Polytech.) ; Giusti, Lorenzo (CERN) ; Costa, Matilde Carvalho ; Brambilla, Mattia (Milan, Polytech.) ; Cacace, Paolo (CERN) et al.
This paper presents the TRUSTroke Federated Learning (FL) Platform, supporting distributed,
secure, and trustworthy training of machine learning (ML) models for collaborative healthcare applications
without sharing sensitive data. The platform enables configuration, monitoring, and management of FL
processes over the public Internet via a reliable and secure transport protocol based on Message Queuing
Telemetry Transport (MQTT). [...]

Susy Searches at CMS
/ Bargassa, Pedrame (LIP, Lisbon)
/CMS Collaboration
The accumulation of 20 fb−1 of data at 8 TeV has been a unique window for Supersymmetry searches at the LHC, allowing the CMS collaboration to search for specific supersymmetric particles. This article covers the search for strong and electroweak production of supersymmetric particles in a variety of decay modes as well as channels. [...]

antiProtonic Atom X-ray (PAX) spectroscopy is an experiment that aims to test strong-field quantum electrodynamics (QED) effects by performing high-precision X-ray spectroscopy of antiprotonic atoms. PAX will use a low-energy antiproton beam provided by the Extra Low ENergy Antiproton (ELENA) ring at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) to create antiprotonic atoms. [...]

The goal of LHCspin is to develop, in the next few years, innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies to access the field of spin physics by exploring a unique kinematic regime and by exploiting new reaction processes. In fact, a polarized gaseous target, operated in combination with the high-energy, high-intensity LHC beamsand the highly performing LHCb particle detector, has the potential to open new physics frontiers and deepen our understanding of the intricacies of the strong interaction in the non-perturbative regime of QCD.
