CDS UPLOAD CONDITIONS

By uploading photos, videos and sounds (“the images”) into the CERN Document Server (“CDS”) you grant permission to CERN to make the images available in accordance with these upload conditions and the CDS conditions of use. The images must be directly related to elementary particle physics research.

You shall ensure that you are entitled to grant such permission and shall hold CERN free and harmless from liability relating thereto. You have no claim on CERN in connection with the use made of the images following their uploading into CDS.

If such images depict identified or identifiable persons, you understand and accept that you shall comply with CERN's data privacy framework (OC 11), and that you are responsible for such compliance. This includes ensuring that you have a valid legal basis to share the images (for example, the person's consent, where required).

Except as indicated otherwise by you, CDS shall mention your name as the author of the images and you are deemed to have transferred their copyright to CERN. CERN is entitled to delete the images from CDS at its sole discretion.
