Many of the walkie-talkies bought by CERN users are no more in accordance with the regulations of the Swiss Federal Office for Communications OFCOM and with the French "Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications" ART.
The models listed hereafter need urgently to be checked:

You are kindly requested to bring them back to the Telecom Lab who will tell you on the eventuality and the cost of a modification.
Please, don't throw them away! They are duly registered by the French customs and should be presented before destruction.
