Ceremony in memory of Mervyn Hine

A short ceremony in memory of Mervyn Hine will be held in the CERN Council Chamber on Thursday 21 October at 16:00. Kjell Johnsen, Henri Laporte, Gabriel Minder, Paolo Zanella, Ben Segal and one of the Hine family will speak about the person whom they knew and about various aspects of his extremely varied career at CERN. Various records (written, photographic and video) will be briefly presented. The ceremony is expected to last about one hour and will be followed by a reception in the Glass Box.
