Directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (France, 2001)
With: Audrey Tautou, Dominique Pinon, Mathieu Kassovitz

Amelie Poulain has led a sheltered life – educated at home by over-protective parents, she retreats into a fantasy world of her own.  When she finally leaves home and finds work as a waitress in a Parisian café, life is pretty uneventful until a chain of extraordinary events leads her to the discovery of a tin box containing a schoolboy’s long forgotten mementos.  It is then that Amelie discovers her true vocation in life – helping others find love and happiness – which she sets about in her own unique and magical way.  When Amelie falls in love herself, she realizes that making neat solutions is not as easy as it seems…

Based on the play by Anthony Shaffer - screenplay by Harold Pinter
With: Michael Caine, Jude Law

AMilo Tindle, a struggling actor, does not know what to expect when he comes to visit the rich and successful mystery novelist, Andrew Wyke. After all, he is stealing Andrew’s wife. His first surprise is learning that the comfortable old English country house is, on the inside, cold and stark and filled with monitors, cameras and other surveillance devices. Its owner, Andrew, lays a thin sheen of civility over his malicious and insulting chatter, and then he gets down to business. That’s Milo’s second surprise. Andrew claims he wants to be rid of his now-detested wife. But if Andrew agrees to give his wife a divorce and hand her over to Milo, he expects something in return. Andrew has just made the first move in a game of cat and mouse that may prove deadly.
