In September 2015, 19 photographers from all over the world visited CERN, cameras at the ready, to find out what goes on behind the scenes at the Laboratory. They had the opportunity to take photographs of daily life on the CERN site and of facilities including the Linac 4 linear accelerator, the main workshop and ISOLDE. A jury selected the best photos taken at CERN and the top three were entered into the world's biggest physics photography competition, the Global Physics Photowalk, in which eight laboratories participated.

The winners of the Global Physics Photowalk can be seen here.
