| Abstract | The ATLAS calorimeter response to single charged hadron has been measured for hadrons with momenta up to ∼ 20 GeV using about 300 µb− 1 of proton proton collisions at a center of mass energy √s=7 TeV up to |η| < 2.3. The uncertainty on the calorimeter response to single parti- cles has been then convoluted using the Monte Carlo simulation to obtain the uncertainty on the calorimeter jet energy scale. |
