Abstract	Concerns regarding the failure of off detector optical components caused concern that on detector optical components would begin to fail in the same way. Therefor, replacements for the current Pixel Detector Service Quarter Panels have been designed and are under construction. The design challenges of the nSQP project are discussed and an overview of the changes is given. The nSQP project allows a few other upgrades to the current detector which are described. Finally a description of the design validation and testing on the new components is given.
