The basic concept behind TPC: an entity independent of either storage service coordinates direct transfer of data between the source and destination.
The basic mechanism of HTTP-TPC, reproduced from \cite{bootstrapping}. Here, we illustrate ``pull mode", where the third party copy client contacts the destination site and issues a request that the destination downloads (\textit{pulls}) the data from the source over HTTP.
