The ALEPH Time Projection Chamber The Time Projection Chamber, which forms the central core of the ALEPH detector being prepared for experiments at LEP, needed temporary protection while awaiting arrival of the final sectors. Some coloured plastic panels were used, giving this stained glass window effect.
