Abstract
| We analyse the national inputs submitted to the update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics update (ESPPU) by CERN Member States, Associated Member States and Non-Member States. These documents, prepared through national consultation processes, describe current particle-physics activities and set out medium- and long-term priorities for experiments, theory, detector and accelerator R&D;, and computing. Following the ECFA guidelines for national inputs, we structure our analysis accordingly. The report highlights where national communities broadly agree and where their views differ, especially regarding future large-scale facilities at CERN and their possible alternatives. In this way, it provides input for the discussions of the European Strategy Group on the future direction of particle physics in Europe. |
